Is she almost running?

Well, it’s been a long long while. In fact, longer than I would have liked… BUT, I have been doing stuff, which is important to note! I’d like to post more often but I am just way too picky to post everything/anything I do… So without further ado, here’s what I have been up to:

Now, this was an in-between animation I had to do which I have to say was pretty tricky! I had not done anything like it before and it definitely put me a good challenge. I got really pleased with the result and it made me more sure of what I wanted to do from here on onwards! All I wanted was to see was my drawings come to life and now that I have I can say: Animation is magic! =D

I also made an animatic for the end of the semester, I have yet to finish, but I’ll just post this to give an idea of what I am going for and to later show its outcome.

Ideally, I would have liked to have put some sound in this, but I sort of ran out of time and I couldn’t quite fit the music in like I wanted to. But this shall be rectified on the animation itself! That’s it for now, see you next time!

Old Animations

The following animations were done whilst I was studying at Instituto Europeu di Design.

Class exercise, my first attempt at animating.

End of course project in 2010, done using Autodesk Maya, Photoshop and After Effects.

The animation is based on a story which I had written a long time ago back when I was in St. Paul’s. This led towards the realization of expanding and developing this project further onward. Though I can’t say exactly where it is heading, I can say that it will take the form of a much more complex and bigger line of work.

Participated in a workshop which led to PlayMadrid.
